Official: Real Madrid recall 20-year-old forward from his loan spell
Real Madrid Castilla are not having a good season by any measure in the Primera Federacion.
Despite being one of the more established sides in the division, the subsidiary team is currently in 16th place after 18 games in the division and find themselves in the relegation zone, raising alarm bells in the Spanish capital.
Constant and incessant injuries lie as the root cause for their devastation this season and the management are thus looking to make some winter signings to try and salvage the team’s situation.
The first arrives
The Castilla side has already landed their first ‘signing’ for the winter – Manu Marquez from Guadalajara.

Ironically, however, the player is not new to the setup in Madrid for he is a player from the club’s own academy.
After spending years at La Fabrica, Marquez moved to the Mexican outfit last summer hoping for more experience and minutes to hone his craft. Six months into his loan stint, however, Real Madrid have called the player back.
While he was initially contractually obligated to Guadalajara until June this year, the Mexican club approved Real Madrid’s request to free the player immediately and the player will thus be available at Raul’s disposal.
A left-winger by trade, Marquez’s arrival will boost the attack of Real Madrid’s subsidiary team and improve their presence in the final third. For a team that has scored just 22 goals in 18 games so far, such a presence will come as a major boost.
