Official: Real Madrid learn their opponents for the Copa del Rey quarterfinals
Having progressed to the quarterfinals of the 2024/25 Copa del Rey, Real Madrid have now learned who they will be facing in the last-eight stage of the competition.
Real Madrid could have drawn any of the seven La Liga teams that made it to this round for the quarterfinal in Valencia, Real Sociedad, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Getafe, Leganes, and Osasuna.
And now, the draw, conducted today at the RFEF Headquarters at Las Rozas has seen them get paired up against Leganes.
Given that Leganes were drawn first, it will be a home game for them, meaning the quarterfinal tie will be played at Estadio Municipal de Butarque.

Real Madrid started their journey in the cup competition from the Round of 32 earlier this month, having been exempted from the earlier rounds due to their participation in the Spanish Super Cup.
The Merengues made light work of minnows Deportiva Minera (5-0) in their first Copa del Rey tie before being made to work hard by Celta Vigo last week as they secured a 5-2 win after extra time.
The one-legged quarter-final ties are scheduled to be played between 4th and 6th February.
Real Madrid will play RCD Espanyol and Atletico Madrid on either side of this fixture in La Liga.
