Official | PSG sign Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
PSG have signed Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23) from Napoli, both clubs have announced. The 23-year-old Georgia international winger has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Ligue 1 champions. Kvaratskhelia is now tied with Les Parisiens over a contract set to expire in 2029. The 2023 Serie A winner with Napoli was identified by PSG head coach Luis Enrique as an ideal fit to rival Bradley Barcola (22) and Désiré Doué (19) on the left wing. Kvaratskhelia can also fill in as a striker. He will wear the No. 7 PSG jersey, which was left vacant by Kylian Mbappé.

PSG’s outlay to sign Kvaratskhelia reportedly rises to €75m in taking into account performance-related add-ons. Les Parisiens have admired the Georgia international for a long time as they already tried to lure him in the summer to fill the Kylian Mbappé-shaped hole up front. However, Napoli were reluctant to part ways then with their No. 77. Their stance has since changed and PSG pounced to secure his signing. Kvaratskhelia undertook his PSG medical this Friday.
Kvaratskhelia has logged five goals and three assists in 18 appearances under the tutelage of Napoli head coach Antonio Conte this season. The Georgia international could make his PSG debut next week when Les Parisiens host Reims. As Kvaratskhelia is cup-tied, he won’t be able to feature in PSG’s last two Champions League games against Manchester City and Stuttgart.
