Official: Endrick will wear No. 16 at Real Madrid

Confirming what was reported earlier today, teenage sensation Endrick will be wearing the No. 16 shirt at Real Madrid.

The Brazilian sensation was signed by Real Madrid from Palmeiras back in December 2022 itself but had to wait until this summer to arrive once he turned 18.

Having arrived in Madrid for his official presentation, Endrick underwent his medicals earlier today and then signed his contract with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Soon after, the striker posed for pictures with the club president with the club’s shirt showing his name and the No. 16, confirming his kit number for the season.

The #16 shirt has a rich legacy at Real Madrid with players like Emilio Butragueno, Raul Gonzalez, Luis Enrique, Casemiro, and James Rodriguez all wearing it at some point during their stays at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The most recent holder of the shirt number was right-back Alvaro Odriozola. And now, Endrick will don the No. 16 shirt and hope to achieve great success at the Spanish capital club.
