Former Juventus captain Danilo has officially signed for Flamengo after terminating his contract in Turin by mutual consent.

The 33-year-old makes his return to Brazil after leaving Santos for FC Porto for the first time in 2011.

He went on to represent Real Madrid and Manchester City before the €37m transfer to Juventus in the summer of 2019.

The versatile defender had more games in the Juventus jersey than for any other club in his career, scoring nine goals and providing 14 assists in 213 appearances.
