Barcelona will look to once again reclaim their nine-point lead at the top of the league table as they take on Real Sociedad this evening.

Coming on the back of high-scoring wins over Espanyol and Red Star, confidence remains high within the Catalan camp, who have announced their final squad which will travel to Anoeta.

Pau Cubarsi has been selected despite his nasty knock in midweek. The young defender is unlikely to feature, though, as Hansi Flick proceeds with caution.

In his stead, Flick has called up Sergi Dominguez, who could potentially turn out to be Barcelona’s next ‘Puyol’, as he looks to push for a start in central defence this evening.

Andres Cuenca has also been selected in the squad, with the youngster likely to add more depth in a defensive unit which has Ronald Araujo, Andreas Christensen and Eric Garcia out injured.

The headline exclusion, though, has been Hector Fort. The young right-back has lower back pain and will be unavailable for the Sociedad clash.

Dani Olmo, on the other hand, makes the squad despite suffering from illness. It remains to be seen whether or not he starts the game, though.
