With Brazil set to return to action next month in the second international break of the 2024/25 season, manager Dorival Junior announced the squad list of players he will have at his disposal. And Barcelona winger Raphinha has been named in the list.

Raphinha, 27, was surprisingly omitted by Dorival Junior during the first international break of the season earlier this month despite the winger making a fine start to the season.

However, the Brazilian international has put his head down and continued to work hard, becoming a key player for his club and even winning the La Liga Player of the Month award for August.

All his efforts have paid off as Raphinha has now been recalled to the Brazil squad by the head coach.

The Selecao will be facing Chile and Peru in their two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches next month.

Given how Brazil struggled during the last break, Raphinha will be hoping to help his national team improve their results and rack up wins, like he has been doing at Barcelona.

So far this season, the ex-Leeds United man, who has become one of Hansi Flick’s most trusted players, has registered five goals and three assists from eight matches across all competitions.
