Official: Barcelona duo Gundogan and Christensen in Germany vs Denmark | UEFA Euro 2024

With the UEFA Euro 2024 Round of 16 clash kicking off today hosts Germany take on Denmark in under an hour at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund.

And two Barcelona players will be on the field as midfielder Ilkay Gundogan starts in the middle of the park for Germany while Andreas Christensen gets the nod for Denmark in defence.

Gundogan is the captain of the German national team and has been a key performer for Julian Nagelsmann’s side so far at the Euros.

As for Christensen, the Dane has easily been one of the best-performing defenders in the European Championships and will now be hoping to lead his team to an upset and progress through to the quarterfinals.
