Solanke scored a second-half hat-trick to help Bournemouth come from behind to beat Forest 3-2 in a controversial match at the City Ground. The first half was goalless, with Neto and Turner forced into simple saves, but there was plenty of controversy. Boly was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for a slide tackle on Smith where it looked like he won possession. The hosts then shouted for a penalty after a cross hit Smith's arm, but nothing was given after a VAR check. Forest were better after the restart and broke the deadlock inside two minutes when Elanga curled his shot into the bottom corner. However, Solanke levelled with a looping header before turning the score around with a poked effort from close range. Wood powered in a header to equalise, but Solanke scored again in stoppage time to win it for Bournemouth. He got on the end of Smith's deep cross and directed his header into the top corner. Bournemouth will aim to make it six wins in seven games when they host Fulham in their next outing. As for Forest, they are just two points above the relegation zone and travel to Newcastle United. That's all for today, goodbye.

Elanga does well to protect the ball on the byline, with Senesi poking it behind for a Forest corner. Gibbs-White's outswinging cross looks for Yates, but Bournemouth clear it up the pitch. It's impossible to predict a winner heading towards stoppage time.

Senesi shows his range of passing with a brilliant switch over to Sinisterra, who sprints inside from the left to receive possession. However, his touch inside is heavy, allowing Turner to come off his line and claim it.

POST! Bournemouth crash the post. Sinisterra cannot get the ball past Williams, so he plays it back for Tavernier. He whips a low cross towards Brooks, who hits the post with a shot towards the bottom corner. Solanke then tries to turn the ball in, but his effort deflects over.

Having earned seven points from their first five Premier League games this season (winning two, drawing one and losing two), Nottingham Forest have taken just a further seven from their last 12 (winning one, drawing four and losing seven). They now have the momentum in the game but could be caught on the counter if they commit too many men forward looking for a winner. Bournemouth have a man advantage and still look composed.

Bournemouth have won their last three Premier League away games, scoring eight goals and conceding just once. It’s their second run of three consecutive top-flight away wins, with the other coming in April this year, but they’ve never won four in a row on the road. They are in complete control and have not been troubled since Forest broke the deadlock.

Forest only had five shots in the first half, hitting the target twice, but the complexion of the game changed after Boly's controversial red card. Bournemouth controlled possession when they didn't have a man advantage but have taken complete control since. The Cherries have had 71.2 per cent of the ball and nine shots, with their only complaint being that they only hit the target with three of them. Ouattara is out of position at left-back, but he has had a superb game. The Burkina Faso international has had 49 touches and made four tackles.

Boly was sent off for a dubious second yellow card in a first half that ends goalless between Forest and Bournemouth. The hosts got off to a fast start in their first game under Nuno and forced Neto into two saves in quick succession. Wood and Elanga were both denied by low stops from the Brazilian. Solanke then crashed the side of the net from close range before Boly was shown a red card. He was first booked for a clumsy challenge on Solanke before a slide tackle on Smith saw him head for an early exit. He won the ball, but VAR couldn't get involved. Forest then shouted for a penalty after a cross from Toffolo hit Smith's arm, but it was waved away. Turner then made a simple save to stop a header from Semenyo, who also curled a strike wide.

Bournemouth have been in sensational form and have won four of their last five Premier League games to move from 17th place to 13th. The Cherries, who are also unbeaten in their previous six outings, looked on course to continue their fine streak of results when Dominic Solanke scored a second-half equaliser against Luton in their last outing to cancel out Elijah Adebayo's early opener. However, just minutes after he levelled the score, Hatters captain Tom Lockyer suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed on the pitch. He was stretchered off to a round of applause from both sets of fans. The match was abandoned and will be replayed in full. Bournemouth will now be looking to secure a fourth consecutive win on the travels in the Premier League for the first time and will take encouragement from their last visit to the City Ground. The Cherries came from two goals down to win 3-2, with Philip Billing, Solanke and Jaidon Anthony all scoring to complete an impressive comeback.

Nottingham Forest vs AFC Bournemouth

14:30

Nottingham Forest sacked Steve Cooper after they lost to Tottenham in their last Premier League outing. The Tricky Trees have been defeated in five of their previous six top-flight fixtures and have only secured one win in 13. Cooper took over in September 2021 and lifted Forest off the bottom of the Championship and into the Premier League for the first time since 1999 before keeping them up with a 16th-placed finish. Nuno Espirito Santo, who was sacked by Saudi Pro-League club Al-Ittihad in November, has replaced the Englishman. He was successful at Wolves and led them into the Europa League, but struggled at Tottenham and only lasted 17 matches. Forest are six points above the relegation zone but will be wary of Luton Town below them, with the Hatters having a game in hand.
