Nottingham Forest defender departs for France on initial loan

Nottingham Forest have announced the departure of Andrew Omobamidele to Strasbourg on an initial loan deal.

The Ireland international has joined until the end of the season but the Ligue 1 outfit have a summer option to make the move permanent.

Omobamidele joined Forest from Norwich City in the summer of 2023 and still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his deal at the City Ground.

However, opportunities have been limited for the 22-year-old, who has made just 15 appearances.
