Noah Van Vliet Commits To Sacred Heart

Niagara 'IceDogs defenseman Noah Van Vliet has committed to Sacred Heart, it was announced via social media.

Van Vliet, who hails from Toronto, Ont., has spent the entire year with the IceDogs where he has compiled two goals and nine assists for 11 points in 37 games.

Drafted by the Hamilton Bulldogs in the fourth round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, Van Vliet has played for the Bulldogs, IceDogs as well as the Sudbury Wolves. Over that time frame, Van Vliet has gotten into 177 career OHL regular season games and put up nine goals and 43 points.

Van Vliet is a solid pick up for the Pioneers. He is calm in his own end and knows when the right time is to activate into the rush. He should be a candidate to earn a role as soon as he steps on the ice next fall.
