When is Noah Lyles' next race? What to know about his next Paris Olympics event
Noah Lyles is looking to bring home another gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics after a successful semifinal in the men's 200-meter sprint.
Lyles won gold in the 100-meter sprint in a photo finish on Sunday, and his second shot at standing atop the podium will come in the 200-meter sprint on Thursday. In that event, Lyles won his heat on Monday, then ran a 19.96 on Wednesday to qualify for Thursday's final.
With a bona fide claim as the world's fastest man secured, Lyles is looking to add to his collection of medals and wins at major events. The 200-meter sprint is arguably his best event, with Lyles having won at the World Championships in 2019, 2022, and 2023. However, he only took bronze at the Tokyo Olympics, meaning that the Florida native has unfinished business on the track in Paris.
