No Motherwell appointment before Celtic game
Motherwell say they have received in excess of 100 applications for the managerial position made vacant after Stuart Kettlewell resigned this week.
The clubs board, led by chief executive Brian Caldwell, will go through all the applicants and determine who will become the new head coach or manager at the Scottish Premiership club.
The process is now under way, but no appointment will be made before this weekend's visit by leaders and reigning champions Celtic on Sunday.
Stevie Frail, who was assistant to Kettlewell, along with coaches Jon Obika, Richard Foster and the rest of the backroom staff, will lead the team this Sunday.
