Lautaro Martinez’s agent has said there is ‘no chance’ the forward will leave Inter Milan this summer.

Martinez won the Capocannoniere award as Serie A’s leading scorer last season after scoring 24 times during Inter’s title success under Simeone Inzaghi.

The Argentina international has continued that form into this summer’s Copa America after scoring in the holder’s wins over Canada and Chile.

The 26-year-old’s future has been in the headlines amid reported interest from the Saudi Pro League in a big-money deal for the forward, while Martinez has had long-term interest in his services from Spain and England. Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are among the leading Premier League clubs in search of a centre-forward.

However, Martinez’s agent, Alejandro Camano, has dismissed suggestions the striker could leave the San Siro and said an agreement has been reached for the club captain to sign a new deal at Inter Milan.

“There’s no chance for a move to Saudi Pro League as we’ve already found an agreement with Inter to extend his contract,” Camano told Saudi outlet WinWinAllSport.

“Lautaro is a leader and the captain at Inter. That aspect is very important to him. That’s the truth.”
