Nico Williams questionable ahead of Europa League showdown with Roma

Athletic Club star Nico Williams is reportedly questionable for this week’s first Europa League clash of the season with Roma.

The Spanish attacker recently went down with an injury and his status is doubtful for the match against Roma.

The reported injury was a sprained ankle which he suffered in the recent meeting with Leganes.

Earlier today, Williams was excluded from Ernesto Valverde’s squad list for the La Liga fixture with Celta Vigo.

However, according to El Chiringuito, Athletic are planning to recover Williams for the trip to the Italian capital.
