West Ham will once again be without Niclas Füllkrug’s talents at the weekend, as the centre-forward has failed to regain full fitness.

Manager Julen Lopetegui confirmed during his pre-Ipswich press conference that the 31-year-old had a slight setback during his recovery.

Füllkrug joined the Hammers in the summer but has missed the last four games in all competitions due to a calf and Achilles injury.

“Regarding injuries, we have the Füllkrug injury – he continues to be out,” said Lopetegui.

“We would like Niclas to be fit now, but he’s having some little problems. They’re not massive, but we’ve lost him for a little while now, and hopefully he’ll be ready after the international break.

“The rest of the players are ready, and working hard for what is an important game on Saturday.”

West Ham have scored only six goals from six games in the Premier League and sit 14th in the table.
