Niagara's Luke Mylymok Signs With ECHL's Rapid City Rush
Niagara Purple Eagles forward Luke Mylymok has signed with the ECHL's Rapid City Rush, it was announced Tuesday.
Currently in his final season of NCAA eligibility, Mylymok has left the NCAA early to turn pro with the Rush. In 10 games for Niagara this season, Mylymok collected two points, a goal and an assist.
Having made the jump to the NCAA in 2020, Mylymok spent three seasons at Minnesota-Duluth before joining Niagara in 2023-24. Over the course of 101 career NCAA games, Mylymok has scored 16 goals and added 16 assists for 32 points.
Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Mylymok played junior hockey in the SJHL (Notre Dame Hounds), USHL (Green Bay Gamblers) and the BCHL (Salmon Arm Silverbacks).
As Mylymok heads to Rapid City, he should be able to seize a role with the team. His skillset has made him a valuable member on each team he's played on and his first foray into the pros should be no different.
