NHL Stanley Cup Final 2024 schedule: Results as Panthers top Oilers
The Florida Panthers are Stanley Cup champions after surviving a scare in championship round and winning Game 7.
The Edmonton Oilers had clawed their way back from a 3-0 deficit to tie the best-of-seven series. But the Panthers got back to their style of play to win 2-1 Monday for their first NHL championship since joining the league in 1993-94.
Carter Verhaeghe and Vladimir Tarasenko won their second Stanley Cup title and a host of people won their first, including captain Aleksander Barkov, forward Matthew Tkachuk, defenseman Aaron Ekblad, goalie Sergei Bobrovsky, forward Kyle Okposo and coach Paul Maurice.
