NHL Hockey Fantasy Waiver Wire Player Pickups Nov. 20 -Eklund Building Off Prior Year Success

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Forwards

Nicolas Roy, C/RW, LV @ TOR (15% rostered)
William Karlsson, C, LV @ TOR (36% rostered)

Double-dipping on Golden Knights in this one. Roy is still seeing top-six minutes due to the absence of Mark Stone while Karlsson is centering the third line. Both players are viable options against the Maple Leafs, who are still without Auston Matthews. If limited to just one, go with Roy who seems to make some kind of difference each game.

Bobby Brink, RW, PHI vs. CAR (1 % rostered)

Brink got off to a solid start with points in each of his first three games, then endured a stretch of just one goal and no assists in the next seven contests he dressed. Philly is looking for answers and coach John Tortorella is deploying Brink on the second line. Brink has three points his last three contests and will be given every chance to keep his current spot on the depth chart.

William Eklund, LW, SJ @ DAL (17 % rostered)

Eklund extended his point streak to four with a pair of goals Monday. Expected to see an uptick in production following the additions of Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith, Eklund sits at four markers and 11 assists in 19 games. Eklund took a major step forward with 16 goals and 29 apples, albeit with a minus-45 rating, last season. He is on pace to exceed that total, but even more impressive, is only a minus-two.

Tyler Seguin, C/RW, DAL vs. SJ (42% rostered)

Dallas' second line of Seguin, Mason Marchment and Matt Duchene have been extremely impressive. Seguin has two goals and three helpers over his last five contests to keep pace with his trio mates. The 32-year-old forward continues to impress, racking up 14 points over 12 appearances after notching at least 49 points each of his last four full seasons. Continue to roll with any of the three players on that unit.

Jason Zucker, LW, BUF @ LA (4% rostered)

After starting the season scoreless in his first three games, Zucker found his form, notching three goals and eight assists his next 11 contests. He then failed to dent the scoresheet again three times in a row before notching an assist Saturday. Buffalo is utilizing Zucker as their top line left wing, and if he can remain productive and the Sabres fail to make a run towards a playoff berth, he will be a prime trade candidate.

Defensemen

Jake Walman, SJ @ DAL (35% rostered)

Walman, after missing five games with an upper-body injury, returned to play 24:55 on Saturday. That ice time included 3:06 on the man advantage. Walman followed that up by seeing 3:48 on the first unit power play Monday. After posting assists each of the last two games, Walman is up to 11 points in 15 games on the season, serving as the main threat from the blue line for the Sharks.

Ryker Evans, SEA vs. NSH (20% rostered)

Vince Dunn remains sidelined, affording Evans second-pair ice time, both at even strength and on the man advantage. Evans saw his three-game assists streak end Sunday but he is up to 11 points in 19 games. Add in 34 hits and 32 blocked shots with 20:47 of ice time per game and you have a pretty complete blueliner in the Pacific Northwest.
