Feb 5 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Friday's National Hockey League games. - - Lightning 6, Penguins 3 Tampa Bay winger Ondrej Palat and defenseman Anton Stralman scored two goals apiece as the Lightning defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-3 at Amalie Arena. Tyler Johnson and Alex Killorn also scored for the Lightning (29-18-4), who have won 10 of their past 11 games. Patric Hornqvist, Sidney Crosby and Matt Cullen scored for the Penguins (25-18-7), who had a four-game win streak snapped. - - Hurricanes 5, Jets 3 Carolina center Jordan Staal collected a goal and set up two more as the Hurricanes scored three times in the first five minutes and then hung on for a 5-3 victory over the Winnipeg Jets. Phillip Di Guiseppe, Andrej Nestrasil, Staal and defenseman Justin Faulk all scored to power the visitors to a 4-0 lead after the opening period. - - Blue Jackets 2, Flames 1 William Karlsson scored twice to lift the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 2-1 win over the Calgary Flames. The center converted a cross-ice pass from Matt Calvert on an odd-man rush at 1:42 of the third period. Karlsson had one goal in his past 29 games and now has six for the season. - - Ducks 5, Coyotes 2 Goalie Frederik Andersen earned his fifth successive victory and stopped 23 shots as the Anaheim Ducks routed the Arizona Coyotes 5-2 at the Honda Center.
