Normally, I would have gone with Casey DeSmith here. But DeSmith has dropped his last two starts, against the Ducks and Blackhawks, while stopping just 43 of 53 shots in the process. Vejmelka may be wearing down under a heavy workload, starting five games in nine days before Jaxson Stauber was between the pipes and psoted a shutout Saturday. The two days off should benefit Vejmelka, though he has a tough match up versus the Stars.
