Matt Roy, WSH vs. MTL (9% rostered)

On a light night, Roy is a safe choice. He collected an assist Wednesday against the Canucks and he's registered at least one hit and one block in each of his past seven games. The only downside is the lack of PP TOI and the Habs have been very good lately, but neither should affect Roy's ability to provide hits or blocks.

Timothy Liljegren, SJ at UTA (1% rostered)
Shakir Mukhamadullin, SJ at UTA (0% rostered)

The Sharks power play can be tough to figure out because they've been five forwards on the top unit for certain stretches this season. At Thursday's skate, however, it was Mukhamadullin who was quarterbacking the top unit with Liljegren on the second unit even though he scored his first power-play goal as a Shark last game.

Both Liljegren and Mukhamadullin are boom-or-bust type streaming plays, and I lean Liljegren simply because he tends to play way more minutes. Liljegren played 2:30 on the power play against Vegas compared to Mukhamadullin's 0:19.

Erik Gustafsson, DET vs. CHI (1% rostered)

The Red Wings power play has been a buzzsaw since Todd McLellan took over on Dec. 27, going 10-for-19 and ranks second in the league during that span. The Hawks PK is actually very stout - 83.9 percent, fourth in the league - so it'll be a battle between an unstoppable force going up against an immovable object. Still, I lean toward the Wings because they're the far better team. Most of the Wings conversions on the PP have been with Moritz Seider and their top unit, so Gustafsson would be a boom-or-bust play, and you hope the second unit seems some ice time to make an impact.
