NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Player Pickups Nov. 12 - Vilardi, Jets Bring Winning Show To Broadway

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Forwards

Gabriel Vilardi, C/RW, WPG at NYR (39% rostered)
Cole Perfetti, C/LW, WPG at NYR (35% rostered)
Vladislav Namestnikov, C/LW, WPG at NYR (9% rostered)

No doubt Vilardi's the top streaming option among the soaring Jets, who's on a seven-game (!) points streak. The shot volume has been really great for Vilardi, who has put at least three shots on goal in six straight games after registering zero shots in three of his first six games of the season. This might be your last chance to grab Vilardi; another strong game or two and he should be rostered in most Yahoo leagues.

Part of the Jets' success has been the play of their second line. Nik Ehlers is rostered in most leagues, but don't forget about Perfetti and Namestnikov, both of whom play PP2. Obviously, their upside isn't as high as Vilardi's.

Sean Monahan, C, CLB at SEA (33% rostered)
Kirill Marchenko, RW, CLB at SEA (26% rostered)

The Jackets are mired in a losing streak and their offense has sputtered, having scored two goals or less in six straight games. Scoring will be tough against the Kraken, who are usually quite stingy, but Monahan and Marchenko are at least doing their part generating some offense.

Monahan has not scored in four games and was held without a shot for the first time this season in Anaheim, but don't expect that to happen again. They're both linchpins of the Jackets offense at both even strength and on the power play.

Kyle Palmieri, RW, NYI at EDM (19% rostered)
Anders Lee, LW, NYI at EDM (13% rostered)

Lee tends to put more shots on net though I find Palmieri generally the more consistent player. Both have seen increased roles with injuries to key top-six players, with Lee moving up to the top line with Bo Horvat, and both of them play PP1. The Oilers' goaltending is improving but still prone to giving up goals. Their opponents have scored at least three goals in five straight games and the Oilers PK is the worst in the league at just 59 percent (!).

Pavel Zacha, C/LW, BOS at STL (11% rostered)

Zacha's fantasy value has nosedived since the start of the season. Originally envisioned as the potential left winger on the top line with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak, the Bruins offense have been quite the mess. But, perhaps Zacha is turning a corner with three points in his past two games and averaging more than 20 minutes.

He's slated to now center Pastrnak on his right and Morgan Geekie on his left in Jim Montgomery's new-look lines. The Blues were blown out, 8-1, in their previous game, the second time they've lost by that score this season. This could be a chance for the Bruins to take advantage and get their offense back on track.

Pius Suter, C, VAN vs. CGY (1% rostered)
Jonathan Lekkerimaki, RW, VAN vs. CGY (4% rostered)

That Lekkerimaki is already rostered in four times as many leagues as Suter shows the amount of anticipation that's brewing in Vancouver. And this is despite the fact that Suter is expected to replace the injured Brock Boeser on PP1, which makes him the smarter (and safer) play.

Lekkerimaki has a ton of intrigue. The tournament MVP at the World Juniors last year, the Swedish winger is known for his slick offensive ability. The Canucks are still one forward short with Dakota Joshua still on IR, which means there may be another call-up, or the Canucks will ice 11 forwards again. Either way, Lekkerimaki stands to get some noteworthy ice time. He's slated to play with J.T. Miller at even strength and play PP2. There are no guarantees he will get minutes, but the Canucks are in dire need of offense and may lean on Lekkerimaki more than, say, Aatu Raty or even Nils Hoglander.

Defensemen

Justin Faulk, D, STL vs. BOS (33% rostered)

Stefan Noesen, LW/RW, NJ at FLA (41% rostered) - L3, PP1
Dawson Mercer, C/RW, NJ at FLA (24% rostered) - L1, PP2

Will Cuylle, LW, NYR vs. WPG (13% rostered) - L3
Matt Coronato, RW, CGY at VAN (2% rostered) - L3, PP2
