NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Player Pickups Nov. 10 - Rossi Rolling For The Wild

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Forwards

Fabian Zetterlund, LW/RW, SJ @ NJ (20% rostered)

Zetterlund faces his original team Sunday night in San Jose. Part of the Timo Meier trade, Zetterlund has settled in nicely with the Sharks. Zetterlund made the most of his increased ice time last season, registering 24 goals and 44 points across 82 outings while averaging 18:51 of ice time. Through 10 games, Zetterlund has six markers and four apples in 15 contests while skating on the second line.

Paul Cotter, LW/RW, NJ vs. SJ (18% rostered)

Cotter's main value is in leagues that counts hits, as he has 48 already this season and notched 233 last season. But he has provided a bit more offense than expected, potting six goals to go along with four helpers in 15 contests. Cotter is skating on a solid third line for the Devils, helping New Jersey to an early 9-4-2 record.

Marco Rossi, C, MIN @ CHI (20% rostered)

Rossi ended his seven-game goal drought Friday, though he still was contributing with five assists in that span. Overall, Rossi has four goals, 13 points, 25 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 14 appearances this season. Minnesota has been deploying Rossi on the top line with Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello, aiding his early-season production. Joel Eriksson Ek still looms but the Wild has utilized him as the second-line center.

Yegor Chinakhov, LW/RW, CLM @ ANA (16% rostered)

Chinakhov got off to a strong start with seven points his first contests of the season. We expected that scoring pace to slow and boy did it ever. Chinakhov notched just one helper over his next six games before adding an apple Tuesday. Despite the slump, Chinakhov is still firmly entrenched on the first line, skating next to Sean Monahan and Kirill Marchenko.

Defensemen

Jacob Middleton, MIN @ CHI (47% rostered)

Middleton just makes it under our 50% roster threshold to be profiled. Brock Faber is still the top blueliner for the Wild but Middleton has been a solid second option. His production has been up-and-down, yet still has three goals and six helpers in 14 contests with eight of thise points coming in his last nine games. Middleton is seeing 20 minutes of ice time a game and is helping on the ancillary categories, blocking 37 shots while dishing out 20 hits.

Damon Severson, CLM @ ANA, (6% rostered)

Severson is on a bit of an offensive roll, which is a major reason why he is profiled today. He has two of his three goals for the season along with a helper in his last four games. Severson is not the offensive threat he was with New Jersey, but has seven points in 12 contests on the season after notching 28 in 67 games last season. Roil with Severson while he is hot.
