Joel Blomqvist, PIT at Stuart Skinner, EDM (9 p.m. ET)
Goalies
Jake Allen, NJ vs. NYI (16% rostered)
The Devils are playing the second half of a back-to-back and their record at home has been mediocre dating back to last season (17-21-3). The good news is the Isles are having trouble scoring (again) and it's unlikely they'll be able to get many past Allen. They were shut out last game but it's misleading because they did put 29 shots on net, only to be stymied by Alex Lyon.
I'm cautious about this start but generally quite confident the Devils offense will score enough goals to earn Allen the win; I'm just not sure it'll be a pretty one.
Joel Blomqvist, PIT at EDM (7% rostered)
With Alex Nedeljkovic starting the two previous games - both losses - I'm guessing Nedeljkovic gets the breather with a back-to-back coming up. I have zero confidence in the Pens' goalies but just think it's noteworthy that the Pens have already sent Tristan Jarry back to Pittsburgh early, meaning Blomqvist and Nedeljkovic will split the next two games.
