Devils' Subban gives out phone number on social media, offers advice

If you’ve always wanted to text P.K. Subban something, the NHL star is giving you the opportunity to do so.

Over on his Instagram and Twitter accounts - where you can also see the defenceman’s training videos and more - Subban has made his cell phone number publicly available if you’d like to reach him.

An aspiring hockey player sought out some advice from the veteran blueliner, and Subban was more than willing to offer him some words of wisdom.

The post has since been deleted from his Instagram, but this was the conversation between the two.

You have to appreciate Subban’s willingness to help out a young hockey player. Speaking from experience, the New Jersey Devils’ rearguard knows exactly the struggles junior hockey players go through, so I’m sure the thoughtful response was much appreciated.

Additionally, Subban has placed his number in his bio on Instagram and Twitter, so that’s where you can go if you want to send him a quick message.
