New NHL 25 1.4.0 Patch Notes

The seventh patch in NHL 25 officially goes live at 1pm EST on Wednesday Jan. 22.

The biggest addition in the update is the integration of the 4 Nations Face-Off, teams will be playable in Play Now, Shootout Mode, Online Versus, and the brand new 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament Mode. Uniforms will appear in World of Chel and Hockey Ultimate Team, while logos will appear in HUT.

Gameplay updates include:

The addition of the PWHL Escape Rule, fixes to reverse hits and improved AI decision making when covering a player in transitioning or making a check when close to the puck carrier.

Multiple fixes are coming to Franchise Mode, including an issue where game results did not immediately update in the HUB. It is now also slightly easier to charm a player at the beginning of contract negotiations.

Desync issues will be fixed in NHL Arcade, EASHL Club Finals, 3v3 and 6v6 games in World of Chel. Network issues and players being kicked out a party in post-game screens will also be addressed.

Multiple visual fixes are coming to HUT, but the most significant update coming to the mode is a fix to HUT Moments where players could skip traditional progression and access locked Moments.

Multiple ECHL and CHL uniforms have been updated.

We hope to see fixes to the autofill and multi-select in HUT, as well as match club size feature in World of Chel.
