NFL Week 14 power rankings: Bills Rise More, Philadelphia Continues On

It was another brilliant week of the National Football League. There were some truly great matchups and it started with three great games on Thanksgiving.

All three home teams won on Thanksgiving and it has been over a decade since that happened. Some good teams lost, some bad teams won, and there is a lot of uncertainty going into Week 14.

Here's how we ranked the entire NFL as we get set for yet another crazy weekend of incredible matchups.

The Contenders

1. Buffalo Bills (Last Week: 2)

2. Detroit Lions (Last Week: 1)

3. Kansas City Chiefs (Last Week: 3)

4. Philadelphia Eagles (Last Week: 5)

5. Baltimore Ravens: (Last Week: 4)

6. Minnesota Vikings (Last Week: 6)

7. Green Bay Packers (Last Week: 7)

8. Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week: 8)

It feels like the Super Bowl winner is going to come from this group. The Kansas City Chiefs keep getting miracle victories and the Detroit Lions continue to find wins despite all of the injuries they've had on defense. Everyone keeps waiting for the two teams from Pennsylvania to drop off any they just won't. In the case of the Philadelphia Eagles, their win over the Ravens was impressive. Including the Lions, the NFC North is well represented in this tier. Will the top three teams all make it to the playoffs? The NFC playoff picture sure makes it seem like it.

Teams To Watch

9. Washington Commanders (Last Week: 9)

10. Los Angeles Chargers (Last Week: 10)

11. Houston Texans (Last Week: 12)

12. Denver Broncos (Last Week: 14)

13. Seattle Seahawks (Last Week: 16)

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Last Week: 11)

15. Los Angeles Rams (Last Week: 20)

This tier is thinning out as we move along. These teams all believe that they can still go on a run of they can sneak into the playoffs. Some of them will get in but how far will they make it? Look out for teams like the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. They are hot right now and the top teams in the league must take them seriously if they draw them in the first round of the postseason. The Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Chargers, and Houston Texans all have high-end QB play which is a must in this league. That could get them far this year.

More To Prove

16. San Francisco 49ers (Last Week: 15)

17. Atlanta Falcons (Last Week: 13)

18. Indianapolis Colts (Last Week: 17)

19. Arizona Cardinals (Last Week: 18)

20. Cincinnati Bengals (Last Week: 19)

21. Miami Dolphins (Last Week: 21)

22. Dallas Cowboys (Last Week: 22)

23. New Orleans Saints (Last Week: 23)

24. Cleveland Browns (Last Week: 24)

25. Tennessee Titans (Last Week: 26)

26. Chicago Bears (Last Week: 25)

27. Las Vegas Raiders (Last Week: 27)

28. New England Patriots (Last Week: 28)

29. New York Jets (Last Week: 29)

30. New York Giants (Last Week: 30)

31. Carolina Panthers (Last Week: 31)

32. Jacksonville Jaguars (Last Week: 32)

Most of these teams are already looking toward the offseason. The San Francisco 49ers look like this is the type of year to just scrap. There have been so many injuries to their players and now Christian McCaffrey is out for the season. They will reload in the offseason and come back better than ever in 2025. The Cincinnati Bengals might be the biggest disappointment of any team in the NFL. They have an MVP-caliber QB and he's playing like it but they don't find ways to win. It is a situation where they find ways to lose instead. Hopefully, that gets corrected in 2025 because we all want to watch Joe Burrow play in the playoffs again. As for the rest of the teams, we have coaches being fired, players making mistakes, and injuries making things even worse. For almost all of these squads in this tier, it has been a tough year that they'd like to forget.
