NFL Sunday Ticket: Verizon's offer will let you watch this season for free. Here's how.

NFL fans, if you're huddling about your NFL Sunday Ticket strategy for the upcoming football season, Verizon has some options.

NFL Sunday Ticket, which is available through Google-owned YouTube TV and YouTube, has all the out-of-market games for football fans who want to watch any NFL game including those not broadcast on local TV.

The package is regularly priced at $449 annually or four monthly payments of $112.25 to watch on YouTube. If you have YouTube TV, NFL Sunday Ticket is $100 cheaper – $349 or four monthly payments of $87.25.

New subscribers to YouTube TV, which has 100+ channels including network channels that broadcast NFL games, pay $64.99 monthly for the first four months, then $72.99 monthly.

Verizon: NFL Sunday Ticket and YouTube TV deals

New Verizon mobile and home internet customers – and some existing subscribers – can get a free season of NFL Sunday Ticket, starting Thursday. Here's how, based on what type of customer you are:

• Mobile: You are eligible if you open a new premium unlimited mobile account or, if you are an existing customer and add a new Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate line to your existing account and buy a new smartphone, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, or the Google Pixel Fold.

• Home internet: New Verizon Home Internet customers who sign up for premium plans such as 5G Home Plus or LTE Home Plus, or Fios 1 Gig or 2 Gig are eligible for free NFL Sunday Ticket deal. So are existing customers who upgrade their plans.

• Current mobile and home customers: If you already have wireless MyPlan service or Verizon Home Internet, you can save $100 on NFL Sunday Ticket, either from YouTube or YouTube TV.

If you don't have YouTube TV and want to give it a try, new and existing Verizon Home Internet customers can get a discount of $10 per month for 12 months on a YouTube TV base subscription – reducing the monthly cost from $72.99 to $62.99.

The NFL season is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Sept. 5 with a rematch of the 2024 AFC Championship: the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Baltimore Ravens.

Verizon: Get free NFL tickets

Verizon customers can also try to win free tickets to an NFL game. The telecom giant will be making available tickets to every NFL game for all 32 teams in its Verizon Access area on the company's website and in the myVerizon app (tap the MyAccess tab). You will see a countdown of what is coming available and when; tickets are updated on a weekly basis.
