NFL standings: Vikings and Chiefs remain undefeated in Week 4
The article has been updated to reflect new information.
The NFL standings are starting to gain a bit of clarity as Week 4 comes to a close, with some teams hoping to stay atop their divisions while others look to recover from disappointing openings to the 2024 season.
Thursday night saw the Dallas Cowboys open the Week 4 schedule with a 20-15 win over the New York Giants, riding a strong defensive performance to an NFC East divisional win that may end up being critical by season's end.
The Minnesota Vikings improve to 4-0 to start the season after a victory over the Green Bay Packers. Kansas City Chiefs also remain undefeated with a 4-0 record after a 17-10 AFC West victory over Los Angeles Chargers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered their first loss to the Indianapolis Colts, 27-24, to fall to 3-1 on the season.
The Buffalo Bills headed into Sunday with perfect 3-0 records, giving each team a real platform to pursue a spot in the playoffs. The Bills take on a Baltimore Ravens team regarded as much stronger than a 1-2 record indicates. The Seattle Seahawks will travel to play the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.
The Cincinnati Bengals picked their first win of the season, beating the Carolina Panthers 34-24. Quarterback C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, who fell to 0-4.
The Tennessee Titans are 0-3 and need a win to jump-start their season. Tennessee faces a Miami Dolphins team in need of answers on offense in the first game of Monday's doubleheader.
Here's how the NFL standings look heading into Week 4's jam-packed slate of Sunday games:
