April 5 (The Sports Xchange) - The Denver Broncos announced Saturday that they agreed to terms with coach John Fox on a new three-year contract through the 2016 season. Fox will receive $5.5 million per year, an increase from the $3.5 million he was due to make this season, according to the Denver Post. The Broncos are 37-17 under Fox in three seasons, the third most wins in the NFL during that span. Fox became just the fifth coach in league history to win a division title in each of his first three years with a team. He is 115-91 (.558) in 13 seasons. He was 73-71 (.507) in nine seasons with the Panthers. - - - New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was released from jail on Friday. Dennard was sentenced to 60 days after pleading no contest to driving under the influence but was released after serving 35 days due to good behavior. The DUI had violated his previous probation for assaulting a police officer. - - - Free agent center Alex Mack is visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend, according to CBSSports.com. Mack has reportedly not received an offer sheet yet, but that could happen. The Cleveland Browns want to retain Mack, a first-round draft choice in 2009 who has started all 80 games, and plan to match any offer.
