NFL mock draft from CBS has the Giants still taking a QB despite dropping in the draft order
The New York Giants did a bad thing for their long-term prospects by winning against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday ... or did they?
Because if they want a quarterback in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, they might still be able to take one while sitting at No. 4 in the current NFL Draft order.
In our latest NFL mock draft from Christian D’Andrea, he had the Giants taking Miami's Cam Ward, who just played half of the Pop-Tarts Bowl. But in the latest 2025 mock from CBS Sports, Josh Edwards has Big Blue sitting at No. 4 and taking Colorado's Shedeur Sanders. Here's his take:
Quarterbacks are always pushed higher in the draft order, but neither Ward nor Shedeur Sanders is a prospect who has to be taken in the top-5 overall. In this scenario, the Titans went a different route because they were not enamored with their options. New York still gets Sanders, but a few picks later.
