NFF plot rival 'espionage'

'Serious business' for Eagles

The Nigeria Football Federation insist they are keeping a close eye on their World Cup rivals, with international 'espionage' the name of the game for the Super Eagles. The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winners will jet off to Brazil in June to begin their global adventure, starting off in Group F where they will meet Argentina, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iran. NFF general secretary Musa Amadu has now confirmed the association are keeping close tabs on the players set to represent the three countries in a bid to give Stephen Keshi's men any advantage in the tournament. He said: "A lot of work is going on with regards to doing espionage on Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and Argentina. "It is not like anybody is sleeping whether from the technical crew or from the Nigeria Football Federation. Everything is being done to monitor players of Nigeria, players of Bosnia, Iran and Argentina. "We are watching and monitoring the players of all the other countries whether they are playing, the players that are playing, those that are injured, those that are hot like (Edin) Dzeko and those that are not doing very well. A lot of hard work is going on as we speak."
