Tottenham’s Emerson Royal has been in talks with the Rossoneri for several weeks, but Milan are likely to change target and go for centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic instead.
According to Gazzetta, the Serbia international has already agreed to personal terms with Milan, so Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada are now trying to lower RB Salzburg’s demands.
The Rossoneri hope to get the deal done for circa €20m, while Pierre Kalulu will be deployed as a right-back if Pavlovic moves to San Siro.
Milan also want a defensive central midfielder and the latest report from Sky Sport Italia claims that they are closer to reaching an agreement with Monaco for Fofana.
Milan are also interested in Samardzic and Adrien Rabiot, but the pair has different skill sets from Fofana who, as reported by MilanNews is considered an ‘ideal’ profile to complete Milan’s midfield with his physicality.
