New Next Gen Event In NHL 25

The Next Gen Event is now live in NHL 25 Hockey Ultimate Team.

The five Master set players are Matvei Michkov, Will Smith, Logan Stankoven, Lane Hutson, and Yaroslav Askarov, who all come at 86 overall. Two of these 86s can be traded in for an 87 overall Kirill Kaprizov.

Any of these players who finish as finalist for the 2025 Calder Trophy will receive upgrade tiers up to 96 overall, while the winner will be able to be upgraded to 99 overall.

There is an 85 overall Tim Stutzle card available if you trade in 82 Jake Sanderson, 82 Linus Ullmark, 81 Claude Giroux, 81 Josh Norris, 81 Brady Tkachuk and any 82+ card.

In order to acquire an 83 overall Next Gen card players must trade in three 81+ overall Next Gen cards.

It costs any three 79+ overall players to acquire an 81 Next Gen.

The five Master Set cards can be acquired by trading in three 83+ overall Next Gen cards and any two 83+ overall cards.

Additionally players can receive an 83 overall Next Gen card by completing all six weekly objectives and an 83 from completing all five Next Gen moments.

Next Gen sets are available until Dec. 13, while the Stutzle set is available until Friday Nov. 22.
