Newly Launched STIX.com Aims To Make Hockey More Affordable
STIX.com is now live with the aim of making hockey sticks more affordable for players of all skill levels.
The Hockey News owner W. Graeme Roustan launched the website, which offers a variety of hockey sticks at below-market pricing.
That includes black composite sticks, now available in popular sizes for right- and left-handed players and goalie sticks, according to Roustan.
“STIX.com is the store for black composite hockey sticks,” Roustan said. “This continues our quest to make the great game of hockey more accessible and affordable to all who want to play.”
STIX.com also becomes the new hub for Christian Hockey, Northland Hockey and other brands.
“Simplicity is the key in delivering value in an expensive sport,” said Roustan, who also owns Christian and Northland. “Now all of our affordable brands can be purchased and shipped from one website.”
In October 2023, Wayne Gretzky and the Wayne Gretzky Foundation partnered with Northland to release the Wayne Gretzky Signature Series. A three-pack of junior sticks costs $99.00 with shipping to Canada and the continental United States, while three senior sticks cost $109.99.
Roustan, the former chairman of Bauer, also owns a hockey stick factory in Gretzky's birthplace of Brantford, Ont.
