Tyne-Wear derby goals are always special but Ryan Taylor's remains a thing of beauty.

The former Newcastle United captain was involved in four of them during a six-year spell at the club and left his mark in memorable fashion during the 2011 encounter.

Shortly after the hour mark at the Stadium of Light, Taylor rifled in a free kick from 20 yards out which left Black Cats' stopper Simon Mignolet grasping at air.

The veteran defender's rocket was also a perfect way for the Magpies to seal maximum points against their local rivals and future manager Steve Bruce.
