Netflix releases trailer for Christmas Day games including the Chiefs
There are just 63 shopping days until Christmas, and this year Chiefs fans will be buying and opening gifts on two big days during the holiday season.
The Chiefs will play host to the Raiders on Black Friday (Nov. 29), which is traditionally one of the busiest shopping days of the year. And the Chiefs will play the Steelers on Christmas Day in Pittsburgh.
Christmas falls on a Wednesday this year, and the Chiefs are playing on six different days of the week. The last time a team has done that was 1927 and it was the New York Yankees. We’re not talking about the baseball team.
The @Chiefs are set to play on 6 different days of the week this season. (Not you, Tuesday.) Nobody's done that in the @NFL since the 1927 New York Yankees. (Not Babe Ruth's Yankees. Red Grange's Yankees.) pic.twitter.com/VPL1eID3If

Netflix hasn’t announced who will announce the Chiefs-Steelers game, which will be followed by the Texans-Ravens contest. The New York Post said Netflix is looking at broadcasters from three different networks to call those games, according to the Post: CBS Sports’ Ian Eagle and Nate Burleson, Fox Sports’ Greg Olsen and NBC Sports’ Noah Eagle.
A quick interlude: If you live in Kansas City, the game also will be broadcast on a local station.
Netflix released a trailer for its NFL coverage on Christmas Day and it used a popular holiday song: “Feliz Navidad” for the backdrop.
Technically, this is a “Date Announcement,” which seems kinda funny for a Christmas Day event.
