Nation's sportsbooks agree: Saints favorites to win Super Bowl LIII
The New Orleans Saints put themselves in a position to take it easy in week 17 and now enter the postseason with the best odds to win Super Bowl LIII, according to sportsbooks across the U.S.
New Orleans, the No. 1 seed in the NFC, are listed as favorites at the SuperBook at Westgate Las Vegas at +225, according to ESPN. The Saints (13-3) started at 14-1 odds at the beginning of the season. They’re also favorites in Mississippi, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“The Saints are a loser for us,” Jeff Stoneback, MGM sportsbook director, said Sunday afternoon. “We’ve taken a ton of money on the Saints down in Mississippi. The [Chicago] Bears, of course, are a bad situation for us, too.”
The No. 1 seed in the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs (12-4), are at +400. The Los Angeles Rams (13-3), second seed in the NFC, are at +500. And the New England Patriots (11-5) are at +600 as the second seed in the AFC.
The Chicago Bears (12-4) began the season as 100-1, but now stand at +900 per the report. The sportsbook operator at CG Technology in Vegas told ESPN a Chicago victory would mean a “big red number” for the futures market and a net loser for the house.
