Nations League: Israel vs Italy – probable line-ups
Luciano Spalletti will look to Moise Kean in tonight’s Nations League match against Israel, while Federico Gatti is expected to replace the injured Riccardo Calafiori.
It kicks off at 20:45 CET (18:45 GMT) at the Bozsik Aréna in Budapest, the venue UEFA has picked for Israel’s home games for security reasons.
The Azzurri must cope without the injured Lorenzo Pellegrini and Calafiori, so Gatti is expected to replace the Arsenal defender, joining Alessandro Bastoni and Alessandro Buongiorno at the back.
Federico Dimarco will likely rest and be replaced by Tottenham left-back Destiny Udogie. The ex-Udinese star was introduced as a substitute against France on Friday, providing an assist for Giacomo Raspadori’s goal in the second half.
Andrea Cambiaso is favourite over Raoul Bellanova on the right wing, while Sandro Tonali, Samuele Ricci and Davide Frattesi are expected to start again in the middle of the park even if Nicolò Fagioli has a chance to start over Ricci.
Kean will start in attack, joined by Raspadori or Matteo Brescianini as an attacking midfielder.
