The second was an even better move, as Dimarco’s first-time cross-field pass sent Cambiaso clear, his effort parried into the path of Retegui.

Pellegrini was sent off for a lunge on Arthur Theate, allowing Maxim De Cuyper and Leandro Trossard to equalise after set play situations.
