Here is who national experts predict will win KC Chiefs at LA Chargers game

Earlier this week, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said he loves to play at SoFi Stadium, which is home to the Chargers.

Mahomes talked about the atmosphere at the stadium and how well Chiefs fans travel to those road games. Perhaps the large number of Chiefs fans make Mahomes feel at home at SoFi, because he’s put up big numbers in the building.

In three games, Mahomes has completed 82 of 124 passes for 1,041 yards with eight touchdowns and one interception. The Chiefs have won those three games and are 4-0 all-time at So Fi Stadium.

A 27-17 Chiefs win is the prediction from the Associated Press’ Rob Maaddi. Here is an excerpt from his story: “Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs (3-0) are unbeaten despite playing inconsistent ball. Jim Harbaugh’s first crack at the two-time defending Super Bowl champions is spoiled by Herbert’s uncertainty and the absence of suspended safety Derwin James.”

Going with the Chiefs are all seven USA Today writers: Jarrett Bell (27-24 final score), Chris Bumbaca (16-7), Nate Davis (27-16), Tyler Dragon (27-17), Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz (26-13), Lorenzo Reyes (23-13) and Jordan Mendoza (20-10). Los Angeles will try to slow down the Kansas City offense with the running game, which was ineffective in Week 3 against the Steelers. Los Angeles could pull off an upset here, but we will settle for a close game.”

The Chiefs will win 28-21, says Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times. He wrote: “The Chargers are going to be solid this season, but holding serve against the Chiefs — without suspended Derwin James — is a tall order. Andy Reid will take advantage of that defensive void in the middle of the field.”
