Natalie Spooner Won't Be Ready For Start Of PWHL Season
Natalie Spooner had targeted a return in time for puck drop on the PWHL's second season, but according to Toronto Sceptres' general manager Gina Kingsbury, Spooner will not be ready for game one.
Spooner suffered a torn ACL during round one of the PWHL playoffs against Minnesota which required immediate surgery. She's been rehabbing and started skating last month.
Kingsbury however, told media on the opening day of training camp that Spooner would not be ready for Toronto's opening game November 30 against the Boston Fleet at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.
Gina Kingsbury has told the media today that Natalie Spooner will not be in the lineup to start the season.
