Napoli set deadline in move for Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho
Serie A side Napoli hand themselves a deadline to complete Alejandro Garnacho’s transfer from Manchester United.
According to a report by Corriere dello Sport via Calcio Napoli 24, Napoli have set a deadline until next weekend to negotiate and complete the signing of Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentine forward tops Antonio Conte’s shortlist as he is looking for a talented player for the frontline after losing out Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain.
Napoli are ready to invest a figure of around €50 million along with bonuses but the gap between United’s demands remains tough to bridge since they are asking for €60 million. Manchester United consider the situations surrounding Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee to be uncertain and therefore they have inflated the price of the 20-year-old to demotivate any potential suitors.
The Partenopei are in a sense of urgency to land Garnacho as Chelsea have registered a primary interest in him and The Blues will not have a problem in matching Man United’s demands.
