Serie A giants Napoli remain interested in Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Billy Gilmour and they will make a new offer for him soon.

The Partenopei continue to look for new recruitments to bolster their squad, with Antonio Conte looking to make the club European candidates once again after a disappointing 2023/24 campaign.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Gilmour remains of interest to Napoli and after an initial offer was rejected by the Seagulls, the Partenopei will make another attempt to land the Scotsman.

The former Italian champions are working on the sales of Jens Cajuste and Gianluca Gaetano to generate funds to make an offer, which will also be made for Frosinone’s Marco Brescianini. The feeling is that a move for the Italian will close after the sales of the two players, who are surplus to requirements.

Brighton CEO Paul Barber has already revealed that a bid was rejected for Gilmour but Aurelio de Laurentiis’ club remain keen.
