Yahoo Sports Napoli interested in Lille’s Edon Zhegrova
Edon Zhergrova (25) has made it clear that he does not see his long-term future at Lille OSC. He had wanted to leave over the summer, however, Les Dogues refused as they reportedly believed that they would receive a far better price following the club’s Champions League campaign.
That campaign remains in full swing with Lille sat in eighth place with only two more rounds of fixtures remaining in the league phase. And yet, interest in Zhegorva is growing with the Kosovan international becoming a far more efficient player. The winger was exceptional in the victory over Atlético de Madrid and pivotal during the club’s qualification campaign.
Napoli look towards Edon Zhegrova to bolster attacking options
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have approached Lille over a transfer in the current window. However, he writes that it is expected that Les Dogues will not make a deal easy for the southern Italian side as they have no interest in negotiating an agreement until the summer.
