Napoli hold key meeting with Lecce for Patrick Dorgu
Serie A league leaders Napoli held a key meeting with the entourage of Patrick Dorgu after their meeting with Manchester United for Alejandro Garnacho.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about the tables that both United and Napoli are dealing in, stating that there is a gap of €10 million between the two clubs for Garnacho. The Red Devils’ initial asking price was too high for the Partenopei initially but Napoli’s intention of making a significant offer has encouraged the English club to offer a discount.
United also spoke to Lecce for Dorgu but their offer of €30 million was rejected. After that, it was Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna who had a meeting with Lecce and the feeling is that fee of €35 million could soon be offered by the Naples side. They will also allow Dorgu to be loaned out to Lecce for the remainder of the season, with talks already underway with the entourage for personal terms.
