Despite renewing his contract last summer, Kevin Danso (25) could leave RC Lens this summer as the Artois side is looking to raise funds. According to Foot Mercato, Naples are the last club to have added the Austrian centre-back to their shortlist.

Three years after arriving in the North of France, Danso is set to look for pastures new this summer. One of Lens’ standout players last season despite a more difficult campaign, the centre-back has been allowed to leave by his president. Les Sangs et Or have placed a €25M valuation on the Austrian international, who is coming off an excellent Euro 2024, replacing David Alaba following Real Madrid’s defender injury.

After another season, Danso has lots of suitors queueing up. Recently, Foot Mercato revealed that Atalanta, West Ham, and Wolverhampton were keeping an eye on the 25-year-old centre-back. The French outlet is now adding that Naples have joined the race for the sought-after player, who could ease Lens’ finances as the Artois side has already recruited his replacement, with Chelsea’s Malang Sarr (26) having signed on a free transfer.
