How much would Nico Williams earn in wages at Barcelona?

An insight into the wage packet awaiting Athletic Club star Nico Williams at La Liga rivals Barcelona has on Friday been provided.

It is of course common knowledge at this point that Barcelona have set their sights firmly on wide-man Williams’ signature, with a view to next season.

The 22-year-old – fresh off adding ever further to his reputation at Euro 2024 – is considered the perfect profile to round out a frontline also containing the talents of both Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski.

The Blaugrana are far from the only interested club, with a number of the Premier League’s heavyweights also understood to be keeping a close eye on the situation.

Deco and co, though, are confident that, when all is said and done, they will ultimately get their man.

So much so, in fact, that the Barca hierarchy have already drawn up the terms of a lucrative contract for Williams at the Camp Nou.

As per a report from Diario Sport, upon freeing up the necessary space on their wage bill, ‘the target is an annual gross salary of twelve million euros’ for Nico.
