Mother of Chiefs’ Carson Steele shares sweet video of family celebrating his TD

No Chiefs player made a bigger splash in Saturday’s 26-13 preseason loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars than rookie fullback Carson Steele.

In addition to an electric angry run on his first touch, Steele was the lone Chiefs player to reach the end zone. It came in the second quarter when he scored on a 1-yard run on a fourth-down play.

Steele, 21, signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent, and his touchdown run may not have meant much to fans. But it was a huge moment for his family, which was in the stands at EverBank Stadium.

“Carson Steele….this is the moment your family watched you score your first NFL touchdown in your very first NFL game,” Steele’s mother, Angela, wrote in an X post. “To say we are overwhelmingly proud of you and so happy for you is an understatement! We love you more than you’ll ever know!!”

That post included a sweet video of the family’s reaction. This is really great.

Here are a few other fun messages on X from Angela about this past weekend watching Carson in an NFL preseason game.
